Since 1995
HCG – Hazard Control GmbH (HCG) supports tasks related to chemical warfare agents (CWAs) and chemical warfare materials (CWMs). HCG was established in August 1995, aiming to unite the specialist abilities of individuals in a single industrial establishment.
HCG holds a governmental license for working with live chemical weapons and has its own laboratories to analyse various samples and develop analytical methods. Testing and calibration of analytical instruments is one of HCGs main working fields. Furthermore, HCG performs analyses and provides chemical weapon-related expertise to governmental task forces for the detection and recovery of CWMs.
Over the last years, HCG has expanded its activities to modify and deliver customer-specified hardware, executed by HCE – Hazard Control Engineering (HCE). Additionally, HCG operates a private Schedule 1 Facility for chemical weapon-related activities, operated as HiddingenTestCenter.
HCG is a member of the group of experts of the Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (BBK).
